Sharon’s role as Rent Manger is to collect the rent to ensure that the association has the funds to repair and invest in our homes. A key part of the role is to ensure tenants are receiving the benefits they are entitled to, providing advice, guidance, and support. She also liaises with Housing Benefit and Universal Credit to chase up the payments due, in this role requires a precise, patient, and well organised manner that is a hallmark of her character.
Sharon ensures that all matters pertaining to tenants rent accounts are dealt with, including implementation of the annual rent review, she is also involved with repairs, and all other aspects of tenancy management.
Sharon also keeps in touch with tenants through Tenant Liaison Visits, focusing on those living in the Aston area.
Sharon has been with the association since 2016.
