About Us
Our Governance Structure
BCHA is a community benefit society and an exempt charity. We converted to charitable status in 2012 in order to benefit from charitable tax savings which could be reinvested into our homes and the services we provide. We operate for the benefit of the community.
Our volunteer Broad of Management oversee our work. Our board members have a breadth of skills and experience including social housing, finance, asset management, maintenance and governance.
They meet regularly to set the strategic direction, monitor performance and ensure the association is compliant with relevant laws and regulations. The Audit Sub-Committee oversee risk management, internal and external audit programmes and financial performance.
